A gingerbread house is a model house made of gingerbread. These houses, covered with a variety of candies and icing, are popular Christmas decorations, often built by children with the help of their parents. Chef Dan Michel is teaching a two part series on making and constructing your very own ginger bread house. He will demonstrate all the recipes and teach you how to decorate the house using the techniques demonstrated in Week 2 of the class. Students will also learn how to light their gingerbread house and use their creativity to make their house unique using inexpensive electronics, which will be available for purchase at the class.
