Kids/Teens Spring Break Cooking Classes – March 22 & 23!!

Harry Potter grew up in his cousin’s shadow, so when he arrives at Hogwarts, he is amazed to find a vast variety of food and all that he can eat.  In this class you will learn to make some of Harry’s favorite dishes.  Harry longs for Pumpkin Juice when they are in the flying car; takes chicken legs to Sirius while he is in hiding; and loves the bonbons in Honeydukes.  Pumpkin Juice, Lightly Seasoned Broiled Chicken Drumsticks; Fluffy Mashed Potatoes; Buttered Peas; Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bonbons

In this fun & informational class, teens will elevate their cooking skills by mastering the most popular technique in Asian cooking – stir-fry! Students will receive an Asian Ingredients & Flavor Profile guide to spark creativity & encourage experimenting. Chicken Lettuce Wraps; Pad Thai; Bubble Tea Smoothies

Stir-fry is a great way to get kids cooking healthy meals!  In this class our chefs in training will learn the proper technique to stir-fry, use knife skills to cut veggies, and learn about sanitation in the kitchen. Students will receive a sanitation reminder sheet and a guide to stir-fry ingredients to get them involved in planning and cooking family meals at home. Chicken & Broccoli; Fried Rice; Banana Spring Rolls

Harry Potter had great adventures with food while at Hogwarts. He saw food appear and disappear from tables, he had more food than he could even imagine and he finally saw how the House Elves prepared the food in the kitchens.  Today we are the elves preparing the food and the students eating the prepared food. Pumpkin Juice; Breaded Pork Chops; Roast Potatoes with Garlic and Rosemary; Glazed Carrots, Dark Chocolate Truffles
