Culinaria’s 2nd Kids Cooking Competition is Coming!
Do you have what it takes to be Culinaria Cooking School’s Kids Cook-Off Champion? Children ages 10-15 will be competing on Sunday, June 26, 2016 for the chance to win Culinaria’s Kids Cook-Off!
The first place winner will get his or her very own professional, top of the line 8″ chef’s knife – along with the title of Culinaria Kids Cook-Off Champion! The runner up will receive his or her own professional 4″ paring knife. Judges will include several local restaurant owners and industry experts.
How Do I Enter?
Interested contestants should send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “I want to be the Culinaria Kids Cook-Off Champion!” and tell us –
Culinaria Kids Cook-Off winners with Chefs Stephen and Pete
- How and when you got interested in cooking
- Your favorite dish to prepare
- Why do you think you deserve to win
Make sure the email includes –
- The name and birth date of the contestant
- Phone number where the child’s parent can be reached (and their name)
Emails must be received by June 6th, 2016. Contestants must be between the ages of 10 and 15 and available to compete the afternoon of Sunday, June 26th.
How Do I Win?
On the day of the competition, contestants will be given a basket of ingredients, access to Culinaria’s well-stocked pantry and professional kitchens, and two hours to make at least an entrée and a side. Contestants won’t know what is in the basket until the day of the competition. Our esteemed panel of local chefs and business owners will judge the dishes. The winner will be crowned at the end of the competition day and will be featured in promotional material for the school as well as local media.
