This film was a remake of the German film “Mostly Martha,” which followed Kate, a brilliant master chef at a swanky New York restaurant who liked to be in control of her kitchen—and her life. Early on in the film, her nine-year-old niece, Zoe, has to come to live with Kate. Kate struggles to balance her passion as a chef and her hope to connect with and be a mother to Zoe. The food is taken directly from the movie and brought straight to your table.
