Grass-Fed Meats/Beef Class (D) – $85 Per Person – 5/26/17

May 26 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

| $85

Whitehall Farm has been in the Vazquez family since 1960 and consists of 200+ acres in Clifton VA. The Vazquez’ daughter Nadine, her husband Jeff, and their farm team hope to preserve Whitehall as open productive space within an increasingly crowded Fairfax County. Whitehall Farm currently raises Angus beef, Mulefoot pork, laying hens, vegetables, and is home to several beehives. Their beef is raised in a rotational grazing system, pastured, and grass fed. They do supplement with a small amount of non-gmo grain because it helps with meat marbling. The Angus enjoy their pasture 24/7. The pastured Mulefoot pork is a heritage breed brought back from almost extinction for its flavor. The Mulefoot are also on grass and allowed to root and forage. They are fed non-gmo grain as well as veggies from the farm. Amuse Bouche (surprise); Tri-Tip Steak with Shoestring Potatoes; Wine Braised Beef Short Ribs with Vegetable Ragoût; Smoked Baby-Back Ribs with Bourbon Baked Beans; Blueberry & Vanilla-Bean Ice Cream
